Spectator points

All routes of the Stubai Ultratrail start and finish in the village center of Neustift.
To give participants the best possible support along the various routes we recommend the following hotspots on the STUBAI ULTRATRAIL:

STUBAI 100

START: Friday 10:00 p.m.

Directions:
There is a parking lot (subject to a fee) directly behind the bus stop in Neder. The hike leads from Neder along the forest road through the Pinnistal valley to the Issenangeralm, walking time approx. 1 ¼ hours.

The Issenangeralm is also easily accessible by bike via the Pinnistal-Karalm bike route 571. 

Lead times: 10:47 - 11:30 p.m.

Directions:
First, pass the church in Neustift and cross the river. Follow the signs to Franz Senn Weg or Autenalm. Behind the monument, turn left and after a few meters take the path into the forest. The trail climbs quite steeply and ends at the alpine pasture after about 2 ½ hours. 
The Autenalm is also easily accessible by bike via the Klamperberg bike route 5072. 

Lead times: 11:40 p.m. - 01:15 a.m.

Directions:
Drive to Falbeson, park at the first parking lot on the left, and from there it is a 5-minute walk into the valley to the refreshment station.

Alternative routes:
Take the Stubai cycle route from Neustift for about 9 km to reach the refreshment station, which is located directly on the route.

From the Oberegg parking lot (fee required), hike along the forest path to the first bend. There you change from the forest path to a wonderfully laid out and well signposted "Wandersteig-Milderaunalm" trail through the steep forests to the Milderaunalm.

The Milderaunalm is also easily accessible by bike via the Milderer Berg bike route 572. The running trail crosses the bike route several times, making it ideal for accompanying your runners.

Directions:
The refreshment station is located directly on the road to Oberbergtal at the northern end of Milders. It is easily accessible on foot or by bike. Please note that there is no parking available.

Take the Kreuzjochbahn gondola from Fulpmes to the Kreuzjoch mountain station (2,020 m) in the Schlick 2000. From there, a signposted path leads to the Starkenburger Hütte.

Alternative routes: Walking time (2.5 h - 3.5 h)
Alternatively, you can ascend from the Fronebenalm (1,300 m, 2.5 h); the hut can be reached in around 3.5 h from the following locations: Fulpmes Tal (935 m); Milders/Bärenbad (1,248 m); Neder bei Neustift/Pfurtscheller Höfe (990 m) or Neustift im Stubaital (993 m).

The Starkenburgerhütte is also easily accessible by bike via bike route 5006, after which it is best to continue on to the V6 at the Galtalm.

The shortest route leads from the mountain station of the Galtalmbahn to the Galtalm.

Alternative routes:
The Alm can also be reached via various other routes:

  • From the Schlick 2000 valley station in approx. 1:20 h
  • From the Froneben middle station in approx. 40 min.
  • From the Kreuzjoch mountain station via a hiking trail in approx. 45 min.

The Galtalm is also easily accessible by bike via bike routes 5006 or 585. From here, you can accompany your Hero to the Panoramasee lake.

Walking time (2 hours)
From the Pfarrachalm or Kapfers parking lot (subject to a fee), follow the signs for “Jochkreuz” in the direction of Mahdl, walking time approx. 2 hours.
By bike, take Route 565 to the V8. After the highest point of the route, it is approx. 1 km uphill on the forest road to the V-point.

Lead times: 06:22 a.m. - 02:00 p.m.

Directions:
The V9 can be reached by car, but there is a highway toll. It is about a 20-minute walk from the center of Schönberg, but the refreshment station is also located on bike route 504, which is connected to bike route 19.

Walk/cycle along Römerstraße to the Lanz rest stop, then continue a few meters downhill towards Stefansbrücke.

The shortest route leads from the Serlesbahn mountain station to the Ochsenhütte and continues past the Alpensalamander playground towards Gleinser Mahder. It can also be reached on foot via Gleins in approx. 1 hour.

Alternative routes: 
The V10 can also be reached from the Serlesbahn valley station in approx. 2:30 hours via the route described above.
The Bikeroute 556 passes directly by the V10, approx. 2.5 km from Gleins. Continue by bike to the V11, where you can support your hero twice.

The shortest route leads from the Serlesbahn mountain station to the V11 next to the Koppeneck restaurant.

Alternative routes: 
The V11 can also be reached from the Serlesbahn valley station in approx. 1:30 h.

Bike routes 556, 558, and 559 each pass close to the V11; turn off briefly towards the lake.

STUBAI ULTRA

Alternatively, start in Neustift Dorf, hike via the Sunnseitnweg trail and the popular suspension bridge to Pfurtschell. Duration: approx. 1.5 h

Lead times: 11:16 a.m. - 15:30 p.m.

Directions:
5 minutes from the village center, next to the main road, is the Neustift leisure center.
Lead times: 11:40 a.m. - 16:30 p.m.

Take the Elferbahnen gondola up to the mountain station, from here the moderately steep climb leads to the rustic Autenalm.

Alternative routes:
First from Neustift past the church across the river. Follow the signposts to the Franz Senn Trail. After the monument, first turn left and then after a few meters take the path into the forest. The path climbs quite steeply and finally ends at the mountain pasture.

Take the Elferbahnen gondola up to the mountain station, from here a fort road leads down to the Issenangeralm.

Alternative route:
There is a parking lot directly behind the bus stop in Neder (for a fee). The hike leads from Neder on the forest road through the Pinnistal valley to the Issenangeralm.

STUBAI CLASSIC

Shortest route:
The Kaserstattalm can be reached from the Kreuzjoch mountain station; the descent takes approx. 1 hour.

Alternative route:
After taking the Kreuzjochbahn cable car to the middle station, continue to the Galtbergbahn cable car. From the Galtbergbahn mountain station, descend to the Galtalm and then follow the almost level path to the Kaserstattalm – walking time 1 ¼ hours.
From Neustift, the Kaserstattalm can be reached via Kartnall or Milchmahd in approx. 2 to 2 ½ hours.
Easily accessible by bike via route 5006 Starkenburgerhütte.

STUBAI EXPRESS

Alternatively, start in Neustift Dorf, hike via the Sunnseitnweg trail and the popular suspension bridge to Pfurtschell. Duration: approx. 1.5 h

Throughput times: 10:25 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

The best place to cheer on your hero is at the top of Höhlebachstraße, approx. 10 min. walk from the Kampl bus stop; approx. 20 min. from the Kampler See pay-and-display car park.
The viewing point is also easily accessible by bike via the same routes.

Throughput times: 10:40 a.m. - 12:18 p.m.

STUBAI SUNNENSEIT'N TRAIL

START: Friday 05:00 p.m.

Shortest route:
By car, turn off into Oberbergtal in the district of Milders, after approx. 2 km turn right towards Forchach. Limited parking above Forchach, from there approx. 15 min. to the Kartnall snack bar.
Alternative route:
Alternatively, start in Neustift village and hike up to Kartnallhöfen in approx. 1 hour.

Running times: 05:33 p.m. - 06:45 p.m.
