FAQ ski passes in the Stubai Valley

  1. What discounts are available for ski passes?
    • Discounts for children, young people and senior citizens.
  2. Can ski passes for children under the age of 10 be purchased online?
    • No, these must be collected on site with a valid photo ID.
  3. Where can the Stubai Glacier ski pass be collected?
    • Pick up at the 7 ticket machines via QR code. The QR code can be found on the booking confirmation.
    • Collection at the ticket offices with reservation number (=confirmation number). The reservation number can be found on the booking confirmation.
  4. Where can the Stubai ski pass be collected?
    • Stubai Glacier: At the 7 ticket machines via QR code and at the ticket offices with reservation number (=confirmation number).
    • Schlick 2000, Elferbahnen, Serlesbahnen: Only at the ticket office with reservation number (=confirmation number).
  5. Can an existing KeyCard (01-... and has 23 digits) be topped up?
    • Yes, the option to top up can be selected during checkout.
  6. Do I have to pay a deposit for a ski pass purchased online?
    • Ticket machine: No deposit fee
    • Ticket office: 2€ deposit for a KeyCard (will be refunded)
  7. Do I have to select the exact date when buying an online ski pass?
    • Yes, all ski passes are date-specific.
  8. Is it necessary to enter my name and date of birth for online ski passes?
    • Yes, the ticket must be personalized.
  9. Can ski passes purchased online also be sent to me?
    • No, they must be collected on site.
  10. Which payment methods are accepted in the webshop for the payment of ski passes?
    • Credit card
  11. I have not received a booking confirmation. Is the booking still valid?
    • Please check your spam folder first. You will often find the booking confirmation there. Otherwise, contact support at stubaitouristik@stubai.at and we will check the status of your booking.

  1. What cancellation rules apply to ski passes?
    • Cancellation free of charge up to 7 days before validity.
  2. How can a ticket be canceled or rebooked?
    • Via Stubai Touristik, provided the ticket has not yet been produced.
  3. Can a ticket be rebooked within the last week?
    • Yes, during the opening hours of Stubai Touristik.
    • Cancellations are not possible.
  4. Can a ski pass that has already been used be rebooked?
    • No
  5. What do I have to do if a ticket has to be rebooked on site at the cable cars?
    • A new ticket will be issued at the ticket office. The new ticket must be paid for at the cable car.
    • The old ticket will be refunded.
  6. Are there cancellation or rebooking fees?
    • No
  7. Can ski passes be booked by telephone or e-mail?
    • No, only via the webshop.

  1. Is there a refund for storm closures?
    • No, according to the General Terms and Conditions there is no entitlement.
  2. Is the ski pass refunded in the event of a sports accident?
    • Yes, upon return (of the already used ski pass) to the mountain railway where the ski pass was picked up and upon presentation of a medical certificate.

If it is already clear before the ski pass becomes valid/is printed/is used that it cannot be used due to accident or illness, this must be reported to Stubai Touristik before the ski pass is printed. Once printed, cancellation is no longer possible, even in the event of illness or accident.  
  All ski passes for a booking are printed simultaneously (together) at the ticket machine (e.g. with a QR code) – it is not possible to select which card should be printed and which should not.
