Race numbers will be issued on Friday, April 17, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Stubai Tyrol Tourist Office (Stubaitalhaus 3 in 6167 Neustift). Race numbers will also be issued on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Gamsgartenbahn valley station between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Race numbers cannot be issued outside of these times. Valid photo ID and confirmation of registration must be presented when collecting race numbers.
The race starts on April 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Wildspitz lift mountain station on the Stubai Glacier.
The start interval is 30 seconds – timed via the Wildspitzbahn lift and a “flying start.”
Each goal error is penalized with a 15-second time penalty.
All participants have the right to inspect the course once on the day of the event. To do so, they must wear their race number on their body. It should be noted that, in order to enable participants to inspect the course, the Stubai Glacier Cable Cars will start operating on April 18, 2025, before the regular operating hours. Racing on the course during the inspection will result in disqualification.
The time is measured using a chip, which is issued when you receive your race number and must be returned after crossing the finish line. Chips that are not returned will be charged at €60 each.
The official finish time is 2:00 p.m. or half an hour after the start time of the last participant. By the finish time, all participants must have crossed the finish line and returned their chips at the finish.
Wearing a helmet is mandatory for all participants in the race, without exception. Only helmets that comply with the EN 1077 standard may be used. Cycling helmets, touring helmets, etc. are prohibited. Attachments to the helmet (e.g., cameras, lights, mounts) are prohibited. A back protector is recommended.
Yes, unobstructed overtaking is permitted, provided that other participants are not obstructed, endangered, or harassed in the process.
