Huts & alpine pastures around the Serlesbahnen

A cosy stop on a day in the great outdoors is a highlight and rounds off every day of your holiday in the Stubaital. In the skiing and hiking area of the Serlesbahnen Mieders, restaurants at the stations and rustic huts along the hiking trails and toboggan runs invite you to linger. Genuine Tyrolean snacks, dumplings, apple strudel and much more are served. Punch and Jagertee warm you up in winter - in any case, the emphasis is on Tyrolean. One of the Stubai pleasure routes, which leads you to the Gleinserhof, also starts at the Koppeneck mountain station.

The charming Ochsenhütte is situated right next to the Ochsenlift and the winter walking trail. Enjoy home-cooked meals made with locally sourced produce.

Maria Waldrast - 1.641 M

Right next to the place of pilgrimage, with a large sun terrace and car park. Hot meals served until 5 pm, seminar rooms and refurbished double rooms with en-suite bathroom or shower/toilet.

Alpengasthaus Gleinserhof im Winter mit Talblick im Stubaital

Gleinserhof - 1.420 M

Family-friendly walking trails to the Gleinserhof, a sun terrace with stunning views of the Stubai Valley, Tyrolean cuisine, a large children’s playground, and farm animals to stroke; 1.5 hours’ walk from the Serlesbahnen mountain station, 1 hour from Mieders and Schönberg.

Closed on Mondays.
