Kalkkögeltrail

On September 26, 2026, the third edition of the Kalkkögeltrail will take place in Telfes: the Kalkkögeltrail attracts ambitious runners to the impressive mountain world of the Kalkkögel. With varied routes, spectacular panoramas and a sporting challenge, this event is a highlight for all those who want to perfectly combine nature and endurance. Whether professional or amateur runner - the Kalkkögeltrail is not just about speed, but also about the shared experience in one of the most beautiful regions of Tyrol.
The "Dolomites of North Tyrol" form the backdrop for the Kalkkögeltrail with a K42 marathon run, which this year is also the ÖSTERR. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE TRAIL MARATHON. In addition to the already established Kalkkögeltrail K18 , there is also the Kalkkögeltrail K30 for the first time, for all those who want to slowly approach the marathon distance. For rookies, morning runners or beginners, the Kalkkögeltrail K10 is the ideal start to Kalkkögel trail running fun.

Marathonrun Kalkkögeltrail K42 (42km)

A circuit around the Stubai Seven Summit peak - Hoher Burgstall, as well as the summit of the Saile with views as far as the Wilder Kaiser make this marathon trail unrivalled. After almost 3030 metres of ascent and descent, the adventure comes to an end with a start and finish area in the centre of Telfes.

Kalkkögeltrail K30 (30km)

The Kalkkögeltrail K30 offers fantastic views with the peaks of Saile, Nederjoch and Jochkreuz, and the Gloatsteig and Hirtensteig are also technically very attractive running sections. After almost 2000 meters in altitude, the end of the loop over the Telfer meadows is a run to be enjoyed.

Kalkkögeltrail K18 (18km)

The K18 up into the Schlick is a little more manageable. After circling the panoramic lake, the route turns below the Kalkkögel via the Gloatsteig trail to the highest point, the Bergler Bründl. A gentle ascent and descent takes you to the beautifully situated Pfarrachalm. After overcoming 900 meters of altitude difference, the technically demanding route leads back to Telfes via the Hirtensteig and Lüderitzsteig.

Kalkkögeltrail K10 (10km)

The Kalkkögeltrail K10 is ideal for rookies, morning runners or beginners, a wonderful run through woods and meadows with not too many meters of elevation gain. Try it out and join in - we want you to catch the trail running bug.
