Hiking through typical Tyrolean alpine landscapes with great views of the Stubai valley.
Description
The Almgasthof Hochserles-Koppeneck and the Ochsenhütte, only 15 minutes away, invite you to linger for a while. About half way between the Ochsenhütte and the Gleinserhof is the turnoff to Mieder upland moor. We urge you to make a short detour into this unique natural landscape. Wide larch meadows, old and partly dilapidated haystacks as well as orchids and carnivorous plants are waiting for you. Then back to the main path. At the Gleinserhof which offers a wonderful view over the valley, we can enjoy homemade goulash made using Stubai veal sourced from our own farm. After a rest stop, head straight back to the Serles trail valley station. Children prefer to take the summer toboggan run down to the valley. So you can decide whether or not you wish to hike back from the Gleinserhof to the mountain station.
